Hey, I’m Richard.

I’m a seasoned executive technology leader with over 20 years of experience. I started out in a Tech Support role, worked my way up to Systems Administrator, then I.T. Manager, and eventually became an Executive Leader in the Public Sector. Throughout my career, I’ve guided organizations through transformative change, focusing on how to equip, empower, and elevate leaders in the technology space.

As the author of It’s Not the Tech: Leadership Lessons from the I.T. Field, I’ve made it my mission to show that leadership extends far beyond just technical expertise. I’ve worked with organizations of all sizes, helping leaders blend people, process, and technology to achieve remarkable results.

Outside of work, I’m blessed to be married to the love of my life and the father of two amazing children. On weekends, you’ll often find me at little league baseball games, serving tri-tip sandwiches at youth football home games, or cheering for my favorite teams—the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors.

I’m excited to share the lessons I’ve learned on my leadership journey and look forward to connecting through speaking engagements, consulting, and my latest work. Whether you're a seasoned leader or just starting out, there’s always room to grow, and I’d love to help you along the way.
